Trek Marlin 6 Gen 3 (2027)

The Marlin 6 is the one we point people at when they have ridden a bit and know they will keep going. The frame geometry is slacker than the cheaper Marlins, which sounds like jargon and means the bike is calmer and easier to control when the trail points down.

Same useful everyday details as the rest of the range, rack and kickstand mounts and dropper routing, but with a better fork and a wider gear range than the 5.

Who it suits: riders stepping up from an entry level hardtail, or someone buying their first mountain bike who already knows they are going to ride it properly.
